Fred S. Efird

Fred is a 30-year veteran of restaurant related research.  He has managed over 1900 research projects and has personally conducted over 500 restaurant specific focus groups.

Prior to assuming the position of President for, Fred worked for the Advantica Restaurant Group where he held positions as Vice President of Consumer Research for Advantica and Denny’s.   In these positions, he conducted research for Denny’s, Coco’s, Carrows, El Pollo Loco,Quincy’s Family Steakhouse, Hardee’s and the City Range Steakhouse.  

Prior to this tenure with Advantica, Fred worked for KFC (Pepsico), Kraft, W.R. Grace Restaurant Group and the Sea Pines Corporation.  In addition, he held several operations management positions with Hyatt Hotels.

Fred holds MBA and BS degrees from the University of South Carolina.
